The function of TVS-3 RTH monitoring station is measuring and forwarding background radiation data and meteorological parameters. Continuous operation is provided by duplicated sensors and redundant system components. Radiation is measured by means of a BNS-98 and a BNS-98S dose rate transmitter on each station, one of them measuring the air kerma dose rate in Gy/h, while the other is measuring the ambient dose equivalent rate H*(10) in Sv/h. Wide range of additional gas sensors, various data transmission possibilities are available for TVS-3 RTH stations.
